Millisecond Feedback Duration Keyword
<msFeedbackDuration N>
<msfbdur N>
<msfbd N>
Parameter and switch to set the feedback duration to N ticks
or N milliseconds in the millisecond variants released in version 6.5.2.0.
Normal feedback timing is to generate the feedback display once a response has
been received, schedule it to be displayed in two ticks, generate a blank
display to erase it and schedule that to be displayed 32 ticks after the
feedback. The scheduling of feedback does not affect the use of
<delay> so
if you set a short display interval you could have feedback frames interspersed
with the frames of the next item (feedback was never intended to be used in
rigorous timing scenarios). The millisecond variants were added because as
time goes by more and more machines have refresh rates other than 60 Hz so in
order to have a consistent experience across machines it now becomes necessary
to add <msd -800> <msfbdur 533> to the
parameters. lines of item files
